Meet our Pastors
Pastor Jason McCutchen is the Senior Pastor of Freedom Life Church, where he has faithfully served in leadership since 2012 and as Senior Pastor since 2023. Under his leadership, the church has experienced continued growth, marked by a strong commitment to biblical truth, Spirit-filled worship, and genuine community impact.
Pastor Jason is a graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Communication Studies, and is also a licensed Texas Realtor and the author of the book “Life School.”
Pastor Jason is ordained through the “City Harvest Network, and through FLCOT.
With a background that includes ministry, education, business ownership, and real estate, he brings a practical, disciplined, and results-oriented approach to leadership and discipleship.
Pastor Jason has been married for over 18 years to his wife Amanda, Jason is a devoted husband and father to two sons, Wyatt (A United States Marine) and Oliver. Known for his authenticity, resilience, and passion for helping people walk in freedom, he is driven by his desire to advance the Kingdom of God. Pastor Jason’s heart is to see people saved, healed, delivered (SOZO) and empowered to live out their God given purpose.
One major calling on Pastor Jason’s life is that of restoration of those harmed from previous misused Spiritual Authority and those who have lost their way.
Pastor Jason McCutchen is known as a bold, passionate, and deeply practical preacher who communicates biblical truth with clarity, conviction, and heart. His preaching blends strong exposition of Scripture with real-life application, making God’s Word both understandable and actionable for everyday believers.
Amanda McCutchen is a devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful leader whose life reflects strength, wisdom, and genuine compassion. Alongside her husband, Pastor Jason, she serves faithfully in ministry, helping lead and set the culture of FLC. With a background in Administration, and a sharp, practical mind, Amanda brings both excellence and clarity to everything she does. She is known for being loving, honest, and courageous, someone who speaks truth with kindness and brings strength to those around her, she is a trusted voice and encourager to many.
Amanda has a deep heart for families, marriage, and spiritual growth. Through her teaching, mentoring, and personal example, she inspires others to walk in confidence, faith, and emotional strength.
Above all, Amanda’s greatest ministry is her love for her family and her faithfulness to Christ. Her life continues to impact countless people through her consistency and integrity.
Who We Are and What We Believe
Freedom Life Church is a Non-Denominational, Bible based, Faith, Spirit-filled Church. We call it FLC. FLC began in 2012, nomadically meeting in various places including, The Holiday Inn, Springhill Suites and the Cedar Park Recreation Center for 2 years.
We found a place that allowed us permanent residence at 1775 Bagdad road. We thank God for what He did there.
FLC was Pastored by Pastors Mark & Carie Honeycutt from 2012-2023 when they were called back home to Tennessee where they now oversee a ministry called “House of David.” A recovery center for men. Pastor Mark continues an Evangelistic ministry today.
In February 2023 FLC received our new Pastors, longtime Elders and servants of the house, Jason & Amanda McCutchen. They prayerfully stepped into the role of Senior Pastor and are the pastors today.
At Freedom Life Church we are who we are and we do not apologize for that, nor do we want to accommodate every type of spiritual expression.
Here is what we mean. We are NOT the place where everyone prophesies or gives a word.
Everyone is welcome, everything is not welcome. We are NOT a struggle mindset church. We ARE a victory mindset Church! We ARE a faith Church!
We don’t follow the typical norms and things Christian’s say.
People say, “I had a bad day!” We will tell you that no day is “bad.” This is the day that The Lord has made, so how can it be all bad?
At FLC we are not interested in man made traditions taught as doctrine. The Bible is our doctrine, rightly divided and in context.
WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We have tenants of faith, and here is the very condensed version. If you want to know more, you may request more info on the “Contact us” page.
1. The Bible is God’s inspired, final authority.
2. God is one in three persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus is fully God—born of a virgin, sinless, crucified, risen, ascended, interceding, and coming soon!
4. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus.
5. God calls His church to holiness and a sanctified life.
6. Sexual purity is required according to Scripture.
7. Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman.
8. Baptism is an outward expression of inward faith in Christ.
9. Believer’s baptism by immersion identifies with Christ’s death and resurrection.
10.The Holy Spirit baptizes, empowers, and produces gifts and fruit today.
11. Divine healing is provided through Christ’s atonement.
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit;
the holy catholic Church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.
